The short version
- Nothing is measured until you agree, if you are somewhere that requires asking.
- Your IP address is never stored. Only a one-way hash of it, used to stop spam.
- You are only asked for a name, an email, or a LinkedIn URL when you fill in a form that needs one.
- Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for advertising.

Who is responsible
Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, working as a sole trader in Yerevan, Armenia. There is no company behind this site and no team — one person reads everything that arrives. Contact: hovhannes739@gmail.com.
What is collected, and why
Only the items below. Each one exists because a specific feature needs it; nothing is collected in case it turns out useful later.
- Analytics and session recordings
- Which pages were opened, what was clicked, how far the page was scrolled, and a replay of the visit. Used to see which pages actually explain the offering and which lose people. Requires your consent where consent is required; declining costs you nothing on this site. Everything typed into a form is masked before it leaves your browser, so recordings never contain what you wrote.
- Newsletter subscription
- Your email address, and which page you subscribed from. Used to send occasional field notes. Every email carries an unsubscribe link that works without logging in.
- Clarity Sprint enquiry
- Your email address and the short description of your product. Used to reply to you.
- Yerevan Product Coffee application
- Your name, email address, an optional LinkedIn URL, which perspective you bring, what you are building, and the question you want to discuss. Used to decide who sits at the table and to email you about it. If you are accepted, your name is visible to the other guests at that table, and you receive a single-use invitation to the private Telegram group.
- Reviews and photos from an event
- A rating and a short quote, if you choose to leave one, and photographs from the table. Published on the events page. Both are optional and both can be removed on request.
- Comments on articles
- The name you type and the comment itself. Published under the article.
- Anti-spam
- A salted, one-way hash of your IP address, and an anonymous visitor identifier stored in a signed cookie. Used only to limit how often the same source can submit a form. The hash cannot be reversed into an address, and the raw address is never written anywhere.
- Script errors
- When a script on this page fails, the browser reports the fault to this site so it can be fixed: the error message, the file and line it came from, the stack, the path you were on, and a browser family and version such as “Safari 18”. Not the full browser string, and not your address — only the same one-way hash used for anti-spam, to cap how many reports one source can open. The report is posted to this site and nowhere else. Any token that appears in it is stripped before it is stored.
What is never collected
- Your IP address in readable form. Only the hash described above.
- Payment details. No payment is taken on this site.
- What you type into forms, in recordings. Input masking is on for every field.
- Anything on the guest pages. Invite, review, and unsubscribe links carry a token that identifies you. Analytics is stripped of it, session recording does not run on those pages at all, and error reports are stripped of it before they are stored.
Who else can see it
These companies process data on my behalf, because the site runs on their infrastructure. Each is linked to its own policy.
- Cloudflare — hosting, the database, image storage, and the anti-bot check on forms.
- PostHog — analytics and session replay. Servers in the United States.
- Microsoft Clarity — heatmaps and session replay.
- Resend — sending the emails this site sends.
- Telegram — the private group for accepted guests, and only if you join it.
Nothing is sold, rented, or handed to advertisers. The only other reason anything would be disclosed is a binding legal requirement.
Cookies and browser storage
- Your consent decision — kept in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, so that answering "no" does not itself require storing one.
- An anonymous visitor identifier — a signed cookie, so a like or a comment stays yours across visits.
- PostHog and Clarity cookies — set only after you agree, and removed by declining.
You can change your mind at any time using the Analytics settings link at the bottom of every page.
How long it is kept
Honestly: there is no automatic expiry. Applications, reviews, comments, and subscriptions stay until they are no longer needed or until you ask for them to go. Analytics data expires on the schedule of the two providers above, which I do not control.
If that is not good enough for you, email me and it is deleted — that route is always open and does not require a reason.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what is stored about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, withdraw your consent to measurement, or object to any of it. One email is enough, and there is no form to fill in.
If you are in the EU or the UK and you think this has been handled badly, you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it. There is no archive of previous versions — the site is small enough that the current text is the whole truth.
